Preceded in death by her loving husband Walter T. Wrobel; parents Teresa (nee Sinise) and Daniel Anastasia; and Joanne Giovannetti, Mary Placier, Tony Anastasia, Rocco Anastasia, Laverne Cornell, Lorainne Anastasia, and Michael Anastasia.
Survived by her loving children Walter D. (Carol) Wrobel and Lisa Wrobel; grandchildren Matthew Sanders and Stephanie Baker; and great-grandchildren Evan, Serenity, Carter, Corinna, and Violet.
Virginia dedicated many years of her life to the Whiting Corporation, where she met the love of her life, Walter. They were married in 1955 and are now reunited in Heaven, celebrating what would have been their 70th wedding anniversary. Virginia had a passion for Bingo, a love for cooking, and found her greatest joy in being surrounded by family. More than anything, she treasured the moments shared with her loved ones.
Visitation Monday June 16, 2025, from 9 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:30 AM at Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St Midlothian, IL 60445. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
