In Loving Memory of Vitalii Fedunyshyn
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Vitalii Fedunyshyn on October 4, 2025, at the age of 42. Vitalii was born on July 6, 1983, in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine, to Galyna and the late Viktor Fedunyshyn. He was an exceptionally bright, sincere, and positive man whose kindness and dedication touched everyone who knew him.
From a young age, Vitalii had a deep passion for cars, which led him to pursue a professional career in the automotive field. He spent countless hours in the shop, perfecting his craft. As a true expert and a lifelong learner, he was the heart of his team-always ready to lend a hand and offer guidance.
Vitalii also had a deep love for motocross. It brought him not only excitement and challenge but also a profound sense of freedom. Riding had been a passion of his since childhood, and it remained close to his heart throughout his life.
Music was another source of joy and inspiration for Vitalii. It gave him peace, motivation, and a way to escape the worries of everyday life.
Above all, Vitalii cherished time with his greatest treasure-his family. Whether traveling to the mountains, skiing, camping, or simply enjoying nature, he found true happiness in those shared moments.
Vitalii is lovingly remembered by his wife of 20 years, Lesia; his son, Denys; his daughter, Diana; his mother, Galyna; his grandmothers, Valentyna and Mariia; and his extended family, the Voloshchuk and Chuiko families.
He is preceded in death by his father, Viktor, and his grandfather, Mukola.
Vitalii's presence, wisdom, and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends are welcome Wednesday, October 8th from 4-7pm (Panakhyda 6:30pm) at the Michael R. Yackiw Funeral Home 1650 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Liturgy will be held Thursday, October 9th, 10am at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Webster Union Cemetery.
