NAPPI, Vito I., 93, of West Point, Va., died Friday, December 31, 2010. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the American Legion. Vito was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy. Vito was preceded in death by eight sisters and brothers. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Nappi; his children, Judith Toone, Angel Duncan, Sharon Justus, Vito "Robert" Nappi Jr., Victoria Nappi and Tommy Casciano; a sister, Elvira Moore; two brothers, Victor Nappi and Adolph Nappi; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 4 at Sunny Slope Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. at Vincent Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 417 11th St., West Point, Va. Tributes may be posted at www.vincentfh.com.
