Vito Syracuse

Vito Syracuse, 94, of Willowick, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2024, as his beloved wife, Edith, held his hand.
Born on May 21st, 1930, in Euclid, Ohio, Vito met Edith when she was working at a car hop and he came in with his friend, sparking a lifetime of devotion. The two married and settled into their home in Willowick, where they lived for 70 years.
Vito was a hard working machinist, dedicated to his craft throughout his entire career. After retiring, he and Edith fulfilled a lifelong dream of traveling across the United States, see every corner of the country together.
A devoted Browns fan and a man of faith, Vito was an active parishioner at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. His dedication to his church was a reflection of his kind heart and selflessness.
Vito proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 18 months and continued to live a life of service and commitment to family and faith.
Vito is survived by his loving wife, Edith; his children Mary, Frank (Robin), and Victor (Carol); five Grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place 2 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 3500 Curtis Blvd.,Eastlake, Ohio 44095
