Vivian Marie Bell, 71, of Rossville (formerly of Frankfort), passed away on September 8, 2022, at her daughter's home in Rossville. She was born in Frankfort, IN, on November 9, 1950, to Charles L. and Pauline (Howe) Fitzsimmons. She married Ottis Bell and they later divorced.
Vivian was a 1969 graduate of Frankfort High School. She had worked for Carr Cabinet and Pizza Plus in Frankfort and retired in 2003 from Parkview Home in Frankfort working as a cook for 15 years. She loved her family, especially her great grandkids, Bingo, crosswords, cooking shows, and game shows. She always had a good sense of humor.
Vivian is survived by her daughter, Krystal (James Kingsley) Greeno of Rossville; son, Daryl (Ida) Bell of Somerset, KY; honorary daughter, Sara Hayes of Frankfort; sister-in-law, Kay Fitzsimmons of Thorntown; grandchildren, Shelby (Hassan Coleman) Foster and Lukas Bell; great-grandchildren, Nyasia, Ahmir, and Kymani Coleman; nieces, Tracy Reed and Carrie (Jason) Dunbar of Thorntown; five great-nephews; one great-great-nephew; honorary son, John Kincade; and honorary grandchildren, AnnaBelle, Skylar, Noah, and Kinzley.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Charles L. and Pauline (Howe) Fitzsimmons; former husband, Ottis Bell; son, Dwight Bell; infant son, James Fitzsimmons; son-in-law, Darby Greeno; sisters, Sharon M. Fitzsimmons, Mary Spray and Barbara Dawson; brother, Francis "Butch" Fitzsimmons; great-grandchild, Peanut; niece, Teresa Lowther; nephew, Lance Fitzsimmons; and a great-niece, Chantelle Reed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home ~ Rossville Chapel.
In lieu of floral arrangements, preferred memorials are to Genda Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses. You may make donations online through the Genda website for those who would like to donate.
