Vivian A. Dougherty (née Maleno), 82, of Clayton, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on August 23, 2025, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Vivian was the second of seven children of the late Anthony and Peggy Maleno. After the passing of her mother at a young age, Vivian stepped into the role of family matriarch, nurturing her siblings with unwavering love and strength.

Vivian is survived by her beloved sister, Linda, and brother, Tony; her three children; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Vivian's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a Philadelphia Eagles fanatic, an avid reader and took great pleasure in cooking, especially during the holidays-her Christmas Eve meals were a treasured tradition.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, August 28th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main Street, Williamstown, where a memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital by visiting www.StJude.org
