Vivian Lamb Obituary

She was born in Wheeling, daughter of the late Primas and Lovie (Ausbrooks) Burns, Sr.
Vivian worked at Stone and Thomas for 27 years and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Duncan Lamb; daughter, Elizabeth Lamb and granddaughter, Antoinette E. Lear.
She is survived by her daughter, Edwina E. Lamb; grandsons, Kevin L. Freeman, Jr., Barak Lear, II; step-daughters, Debra Dixon, Valerie Lamb, Terri Lamb and several step-grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 10 am until the time of service at 12 noon at Macedonia Baptist Church, 105 12th St, Wheeling, with Pastor Marshall Davis officiating.
Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Home, 1308 Chapline St., Wheeling (304-232-5110).

EDWINA AND FAMILY LOVING THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS TO YOU AND FAMILY. WHEN MS. VIVIAN SANG "ROUGHT SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN" ALTHOUGH I NEVER HEARD HER COMPLAIN, I KNEW SHE SANG THAT SONG FROM HER HEART AND HER INFECTUOS SMILE LET YOU KNOW THAT THE JESUS SHE LOVED AND SERVED LOVED HER AND WAS WITH HER ALL THE WAY. We send our love, prayers, and condolences to you in the loss of your mother & grandmother.
God´s word reminds us that He is a very present help. Know that death is not an end, but a transition to a place free of pain and suffering.
The word of God reminds us in 2nd Timothy 4:7-8, "I have fought a good fight, finished the course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing."
As you walk through this valley of the shadow of death, we pray you find comfort in the sweet memories of your mother & grandmother.
Know that God loaned her to you for many years and has now afforded her a home on high.
