Vivian Leslie Forbis was born August 25, 1952, the daughter of Kenneth Dale and Lula Mae (Moiren) Forbis. She married Roger E. Walker on March 06, 1985; they were married nearly 40 years.
Vivian was quite an accomplished woman; she held a Masters Degree from Eastern IL University and was an addictions counselor for 17 years and took a tremendous amount of pride in helping others. Vivian loved spending time with her grandchildren and never missed a birthday, holiday, or other chance to be with them. She enjoyed attending concerts, Cubs games and spending time with her close friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Walker of Vandalia; son, Sean Walker of Westmont, IL and his three half siblings, Matthew Walker and wife Arlene of Everett, WA, Tamara Richardson and husband Gaines of Monroe, WI, Annsara Walker of Monroe, WI; brother, Bobby Forbis and wife Paula of Vandalia; grandchildren, Dylan, Emmalyn, Julia, William, Nathaniel, Bryan, Anderson, and Ellis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Shirley Forbis.

I worked with Vivian at CEAD Council, she was a nice and kind person. I always enjoyed talking to her. She loved her son and talked about his music. She will be remembered with love. Rest easy Vivian. Respectfully. Tanya

I worked with Vivian at CEAD Council. She was fun to talk to, helpful and had respect for clients and staff. One Christmas she gave me a beautiful bracelet because she heard me say that I like bracelets.
