Vivian Walton Zuidema

Vivian was born and raised in Dos Palos and Merced County. She went to school at Fresno State and taught school before marrying Orin Cone. They had five children, and Vivian became a housewife and mother. She moved to Modesto and went to Modesto Junior College.
She sold World Book, Amway, Tupperware and went back to teaching school in 1970. She married Jack Walton in Fairfield, California. Jack passed on and Vivian married Edmorse Zuidema and moved back to Merced County where she taught school at Winton Elementary until 2015 and retired, being voted best mother ever by all her children. Vivian was a reading specialist and loved helping those with reading issues. Vivian was a life member of the Church of Christian Science.
She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Cone, her brother Leonard Bibler and sisters Beverly Rush and Betty Caldwell.
She is survived by her children Barbara Current of Mason City, Iowa, John Cone of Oceanside, California, Bill Cone of Turlock, California and David Cone of Turlock, California. She is also survived by her brothers Jerry Bibler and Jay Biler, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 27 at The Turlock Masonic Lodge, 108 N. Thor in Turlock.
