Wade Andrew Williams, age 64 of Buchanan, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cobb County, on July 22, 1961, he was the son of Ronnie Williams and the late Frances Williams.

A 1980 graduate of Haralson County High School, Wade dedicated more than 40 years to public service. Starting in the area of fire fighting, he spent the majority of his career in Law Enforcement. Wade had multiple law enforcement certifications through the Georgia Police Academy. He had a heart for the citizens of Haralson County. Wade was also President of the Williams Gutter Company, working along side his father and son. A farmer at heart, Wade raised cattle and enjoyed riding through the woods and fields inspecting the farmland. A devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather, family meant everything to him. From family vacations, holidays, sporting events, and birthdays, he was always there keeping everyone laughing and enjoying the time spent together. A deacon at Tallapoosa East Baptist Church, Wade and his family were long term members there serving where needed. A cancer survivor, he lived each day to the fullest and worked to make a difference in others' lives, too. Wade's humor, laughter, and servant heart will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Kim Bridges Williams; his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Lora Williams; his daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Trent Crabbe; his granddaughters: Presley Crabbe, Ryleigh Williams, Peyton Crabbe, and Jordan Williams. Also surviving are his father, Ronnie Williams; his sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Scott Bardenwerper; sister-in-law, Stacy Murphy; nieces and nephews: Mitch and Bre Bardenwerper, Mark and Emili Bardenwerper, Brett and Mackenie Bardenwerper, Cassie and Nick Gilley, Laura Murphy, David Murphy and Joseph Murphy; his great nieces and nephews, Landon, Lennon, Alli, and Averi Bardenwerper and R.J. Gilley; as well as numerous other extended family and friends.

The funeral service for Wade Williams will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Tallapoosa East Baptist Church with Mike Daniel, Brother Richard Brannon, and Reverend Dr. Mason Bush officiating. Wade will be laid to rest in the Tallapoosa East Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as active pallbearers: Ricky Dobbs, Bobby Bright, David Wallace, Rodney Johnson, Ricky Bell, Joel Dennis, Hal Woods, Jodi Benefield, Chris Bacon, and Bobby Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Tallapoosa East Baptist Church and Law Enforcement.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tallapoosa East Baptist Church and again on Tuesday prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM.
