Waheeb B. Webbe

Waheeb B. Webbe, 82, of Easton, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at St. Luke's Anderson Campus. Born on March 11, 1942 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Bader and Helena (Shaheen) Webbe.
He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1959 and enlisted in the United States Airforce in 1960. He was stationed at Seward Air Force base in Tennessee where he would meet the future Mrs. Joann Webbe. He was assigned to the 839th airlift division, Tactical Air Command's experimental airlift program, and rapid deployment force. He was deployed to Tampa, FL during the Cuban missile crisis and later was stationed in Iran. He was honorably discharged in 1964.
Back home, he worked at the former Mack Printing as a pressman and in the bindery department. He also worked as a salesman for Losey Industrial Supply. Waheeb was of the Maronite Catholic faith and a believer in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was very proud of his Lebanese American heritage and being a patriot of the United States. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family, friends and neighbors. He studied international and American history, took long walks and relaxed with his pet cats and neighborhood wildlife.
Waheeb is survived by his sons, Robert and David Webbe.
In addition to his parents, Waheeb was preceded in death by his wife, Joann (Barksdale) and an infant daughter, Mary Webbe.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) Prayer of the Incense will be held at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 10:00 am at Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.)
