Wallace "Wally" Stanley Post, 76, of Daleville, passed away on October 23, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents Ethel "Virginia" and Edward Christian Post and a great-grandson, Alexzander Raven McCormick. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carmen S. Post; son, Joshua A. Post (Cynthia); daughter, Jessica L. Nash (Douglas); grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer, Nicholas, and Samantha; Sisters, Christie Morano (Philip), and Carolyn Cornelius (Randy); and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will have a Visitation on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Troutville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (70 Greenfield Street, Daleville, Va 24083) at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to a gathering at the Fitzpatrick Hall at the Jefferson Center, 541 Luck Avenue, Roanoke, Va 24016, immediately following the service.
