Coralville-Wallace “Gregg” Taylor was born July 13, 1958 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of William Wallace and Pauline Viola (Campbell) Taylor. He graduated from Williamsburg High School. Gregg then served in the United States Air Force. He lived in Centerville, Williamsburg and Coralville. Gregg enjoyed fishing and camping. Gregg died Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at his home in Coralville, at the age of 67 years.

He is survived by his family, Dawone Youngers of Salem, OR, William “Wade” Taylor of Coralville, Rosenda Marie Taylor of Cedar Rapids, Linda Ann Gates of Salem, OR and William Wallace Taylor Jr. of Coralville. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at Powell Funeral Home in Marengo on Monday, March 2, 2026 beginning at 1:00 p.m. There will be a Funeral Service beginning at 1:45 p.m. Burial will follow in the Marengo Cemetery. A general memorial fund has been established. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Marengo is caring for Wallace and his family. Messages may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com
