Wally was known for his strong will and stubbornness but had a loving spirit and a big heart. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed his time the most when he was deer and bird hunting with friends and family. He put the Wally in the jack of all trades. He had a knack for cooking, meat processing and fixing anything with an engine.
His legacy lives on in the memories he created and the love he shared Enjoying many years with Linda and friends at his cabin located in Selkirk, Manitoba in Canada Walleye fishing on the Red River. Spending time with his grandson Tyler building pinewood derby cars in Boy Scouts and teaching him everything including how to hunt. Raising and training Labrador Retrievers on the family property at Glor Loral Kennels located in West Bend, Wisconsin and many more memories.
"When I see those mallards fluttering from the heavens into my decoys, I'll know you sent them. My dog will be steady and I'll wait for the call. I promise I won't miss. May the ducks be in the thousands and big bucks behind every tree. Save me a good spot in the cattails".
He is survived by his mother Gloria Berth, his beloved girlfriend of 33 years Linda Nordby, his siblings David Berth, Robyn Berth Scheider (Scott), Sheila Berth, his daughter Laurel Lawrence (Curtis), granddaughter Aysia Lawrence, grandson Tyler Nordby (Paige), nephews David Berth (Jordan), Dylan Berth (Marianna), Harry Schneider and niece Sophie Schneider. He is preceded in death by his father Walter Berth, Sr and his brother Patrick Berth.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wally's 64th birthday, Monday October 14th 2024 at 12 noon at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (1025 S. 7th Ave. West Bend, Wisconsin). A celebration of life will occur at Glor Loral Kennels on October 26th, 2024 beginning at 12 noon at 1605 Hwy 33 East. West Bend, Wisconsin, 53095.
