Walter A. Cooper Jr.

Walter Albert Cooper (Pee Wee) departed his family and loved ones at the age of 82 on Saturday December 6, 2025 at his home in Rock Hall MD. He was born in Queen Anne's Co MD. On August 15, 1943 and was born to Walter A. Cooper Sr and Mary Ellen Wilson Cooper. He was preceded in death by his parents also a brother Fredrick Taylor, one sister Sarah E Taylor, two sons Walter A Cooper Jr, Clarence R Beck also two daughters Emily Cooper, and Joyce Cooper Moody.

Walter received his education through the Queen Anne's County school system. He worked at the University of Maryland Hospital up until the time of his death as well as other jobs throughout his life including Brambles and Local 199. He was a member of Holy Trinity AME Church in Rock Hall MD as well as a of the Rock Hall Elks Lodge and the Thomas H Kian No 101 Masonic Lodge.

Walter enjoyed life with his family but lived just sitting in his Den watching TV and lots of reading. In his younger years he loved playing softball and was an avid Gun Collector.

Walter married Dorothy S. Tilghman of 48 years on January 27,1977. He leaves his cherished loved ones a sister Martha Cooper Cheers of Salisbury, Md, five daughters Charlotte Hall (Will) of Ridgely MD, Cathy Feagins(Michael) of Clover, South Carolina,Wanda Elliott (Robert) of Philadelphia , PA, Sheila Wilson(Melvin) Rock Hall, MD, Annette Turner (Charles) of Rock Hall, MD, two sons Vern A Cooper (Katrina) of Denton, MD, and Cornelius Beck of California.

Two best friends Earl Blake of Centreville, MD., Ronnie Turner of Chestertown, Md.,his Sidekick his grandson Gavin, Russell. He also had thirty two grandchildren, four great, great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews
