Walter L. Farmer, 79, of Plainfield, passed away on October 27, 2025 surrounded by loving family members. He was born on October 19, 1946 in Cloverdale, to the late Robert and Dorval Farmer. Walter was an IT specialist for The Hartford Company before retiring. He could fix anything and was known as papa.com because he had everything. Walter loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by 7 brothers. Funeral services will be on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Mannan Cemetery. Survivors include his loving wife, Paula Farmer; daughter, Amanda (Kassie) Ferguson; grandchildren, Darrian, Liam, Jamison, Remi and Fitzroy; brother, Harry Farmer; sisters, Joyce (George) Jones, Betty Farmer and Karen Farmer.
