Walter Lindwurm Obituary
He was born March 15, 1934, to the late Carl and Bertha (Hashe) Lindwurm in Gregory, SD. Walter proudly served his country in the United States Army and retired as a Union Plumber from Local 16.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Wayne Lindwurm; grandson, Jacob Cyr; brothers, Ray Lindwurm and Lester Lindwurm; sister, Irene Koch, Alma Kahler, Louise Kahler, Dorothy Moor, and Mildred Klein; great-grandchild, Everli Schnepp.
Walter is survived by his wife of 66 years, Glenis Lindwurm; children, Lori Cyr, Susan (Dave) Wilson, Daniel Lindwurm, and Lisa Lindwurm; brothers, Kenneth (Myrna) Lindwurm, Norman (Arlette) Lindwurm, and Norbert (Susan) Lindwurm; grandchildren, Amanda (Cody Schnepp) Cyr, Bronson (Ariana) Wilson, Chad (Miranda) Cyr, Michael Cyr, and Megan Wilson; great-grandchildren, Austin Schnepp and Kinsley Schnepp; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Saturday, September 16, 2023. The family will direct memorials.
