Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Raymond Funeral Service, 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646, followed by a Prayer Service at 5:00 PM. On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, there will be a Visitation at 10:30 AM at Whitehall Baptist Church, 1205 Farmington Road E., Accokeek, MD 20607, with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM. Military Honors will also be held at Whitehall Baptist Church.
Walter E. Matthey Sr. worked for the Federal Reserve.
In order to honor Walter's memory, donations can be made to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839.
