Walter Gordon Myers

Walter Gordon Myers, 90, of Winfield, MD died on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at his Home, in Winfield, MD.
He was the husband of the late Edith Sharpe Myers.
He was born September 26, 1932, in Baltimore, MD the son of the late William H. Myers and the late Mildred M. Myers (nee Hamilton).
Gordon worked for Red Star Trucking for many years. Gordon was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of The Baltimore VFW, the NRA and teamsters trucking in Baltimore, MD. Gordon was part of a neighborhood for over 50 years; and the neighbors all enjoyed spending time with each other and became a part of each other's extended families.
He is survived by his great niece and God child Melanie Simone & husband Gary, Sr. and children Gary, Jr., Lauren, and Joshua all of La Plata, MD, his nephew Toni and wife Ella Myers.
Gordon was preceded in death by his brothers Palmer and Donald Myers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 3-5 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). Where funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Art Monroe officiating.
Interment to follow Baltimore Cemetery.
