The GREATEST godfather anyone could ever have --- as well as a very special human being. Loved to talk about the military, especially after I got back from Viet Nam. He was always there when you needed him and now he'll be watching out for us from a very special place.
Rest in Peace, Uncle Wally.

This is your homecoming week in heaven Uncle Wally. I know your brothers and sisters; Marie, Stanley, Stella, Laura, Rich, and Peter are planning something special for you. After they left us, you were the sole remaining history keeper of the beginnings of the Niemaszyk family in America. I have listened and enjoyed those stories during my visits with you. This closes another chapter in that history but there are many more opening. Family was always important to you. Give my love to my dad.

In a soldier's world there is a phrase we use "stand down" it means you have performed your duties and can rest. Uncle Wally can now stand-down and clasp hands with the long line of veterans that have earned eternal rest.

Rest in Peace Uncle Wally. You have been such a bright light in our family....your stories told us so much about the family you loved and the time you spent defending your country. In your 96 years, you lived a life that was full. Your wit and easy smile will be missed. Love, Judy, Wes and William.
