Walter George Plett, 86, passed away at Renown in Reno, Nevada, on Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was born on May 6, 1938, in Rosetown Saskatchewan, Canada, to Peter and Sarah Plett.

A daughter, Teresa with her husband David Merritt; two sons with their wives, Bernard and Satomi Plett, Brian and Starrla Plett; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Walter was an icon in our community as well as a pillar in our church, Yerington Vineyard Fellowship. He always loved and stood up for the truth. He was a good, kind, and generous man. Always full of good advice. He always wanted to see people do well. His faith was rock solid. We miss him terribly, but rejoice that he is together with his beloved Pauline, and together they are in the presence of the Father. No more sickness, no more pain, no more grieving. Only Joy, unspeakable Joy!!
