Walter Lee Riggle Jr. 60, better known as Lee born on December 2, 1964, in Indianapolis, IN left us unexpectedly on September 8, 2025. Lee is the son of Walter Lee and Deanna (Bright) Riggle. He was a devoted husband to Debbie (Owens) Riggle, and together they created a beautiful family filled with love and laughter. Lee had a zest for life that shone through in everything he did. Lee was a forklift operator for TBIL in Lawrenceville, and he truly enjoyed going to work each day. He was a huge fan of bowling and volleyball and couldn't resist the thrill of the casinos. Sundays were sacred for Lee, as he cheered on his Indianapolis Colts. He found joy in cooking up delicious meals on his Blackstone, often inviting friends and family to join in on the good times.
Lee was a true family man-always the first to record every sporting event his kids took part in. His heart was as big as his passion for all things sports, and he loved nothing more than gathering with family for any occasion. His dog, Ellie, was his constant companion who he loved dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Riggle of Bridgeport, IL; his children, Jordan Hennessy and his wife Leah R., Leah Alice Hennessy and her fiancée T.J. Sutton, Tristen Eby and her partner Cam Anderson, Samantha Young and wife Amy Young, Cierra Riggle and her partner Drake Kennedy; sister, Tracy Cramer and her husband Dale; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lee and Deanna Riggle his granddaughter, Chloe Hennessy and his father-in-law, Jim Owens.
To celebrate Lee's life, a public visitation will take place at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home in Vincennes on September 16, 2025, starting at 4:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at the same location at 6:00 pm.
