Walter Rogers Obituary
Walter was the youngest son of Gilbert and Nancy (Riggs) Rogers. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his siblings; Gerald Rogers, Elizabeth Webb and Rebecca Rogers; his brother-in-law Ray Webb; and his nephews Joshua Lawson and Anthony Nativio and great nephew Cameron Nativio. He is survived by his brother David and his nieces and nephews Katherine Franklin (Bobby Joe) and Autumn Haggins (Chayse); Matthew Brewer (Laura) and Seth Webb. And his great nieces and nephews: Izabella and Mila Joe Franklin; Kloe, Nala, and Luca Haggins; Angelo and Vada Nativio; and Bristol and Michael Lawson.
Walter knew no strangers. He was a friend to any and all and loved to help wherever he could. Walter had a passion for fishing and gardening and was known to grow the best tomatoes. He was an avid UK Basketball fan and definitely bled blue. Walter will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Walter was cremated on April 18, 2025. Services to be announced at a later date.
Care Cremation and Funeral Service is honored to be entrusted with final care.
