Walter J. Webster Iii

Walter J. (Double) Webster III, 68 of Pittsville, Maryland passed away Sunday, January 16th, 2022. He was born November 19th, 1953, in Salisbury, MD. He was the son of Walter J. "Jack" Webster Jr and the late Mary Anne Jenkins.
Double was the owner of Webster Plumbing, Inc. for 18 years. He went on to become the Plumbing Inspector for the City of Salisbury before rising to the position of Superintendent of Public Works, before retiring. Then, he followed his passion for operating heavy equipment.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Shelly Webster, and two daughters, Ashley Giordano (Billy), Melissa Webster (Chris), two granddaughters Gemma and Vayda Giordano and two grandsons Wesley and Grayson Brush; Siblings, Patty Mumford (David), Vance Webster (Donna), Jackie Webster Shortt (Frank), Stepmother, Barbara Webster and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded by his sister Georgia Greenwood.
Double was a hardworking man, loving husband, father, and grandfather. A lifetime member of A.M.S.A. He loved to bake and drive tractors, especially the big John Deere at Layfield Litter. An avid animal lover, he will be missed by his horse Gilly the Kidd, Hound dog Slimmy Boy, and his cat, Isabella.
