Jewel, Steve and I were sad to hear of your Mom's passing. We have many pleasant memories of her at the Decatur church, she was usually at the piano or organ sharing her gift with the rest of us. She will be missed! You, John and Gifford are in our prayers during this difficult time. We know we will see her again one day soon, God bless you each one.

There is so much to be said about Julia, she had such a wonderful personality with a pure heart. I work at heritage and every now and then I was able to visit with her. Although I never got to spend a lot of time with her and didn't know her as well, I learned very quickly how great of a person she was. She would tell me some of her stories and other times we would just talk about different things. She was always considerate of others, and would ask about my other family members. She could always make me smile and looked on the bright side of things. When she played the piano it lit up the room, it was so beautiful and I would leave with a wholesome feeling. I myself had taken piano lessons but i'm a little rusty, I hope that someday I will be able to play as well as she did. Everytime I sat down at a piano I thought of her and I know now when I do she will be looking down smiling. She will be missed very much by so many people. My prayer's go out to you Jewel and your family.

Dearest Jewel and Family,
Your mother was so precious. She sent me a birthday card every year until I was in my late 40's regardless of where I lived she found me. I extend my deepest sympathy to you at this time and yet am thrilled that the next face she will see is Jesus coming in the clouds! Rest in peace dear, dear Aunt Julia. Love to you all.
