Walter Weston Obituary
Walter Ray Weston departed his natural life on January 12, 2024, at the age of sixty-six (66). Walter was born in Englewood, Greenville, NC on December 25, 1957, to the late Sarah Selby and Henry Weston, Sr.
He began his education at Sussex Central in Georgetown, Delaware. He was employed by TS Smith's in Bridgeville, Delaware and Perdue Farms in Georgetown, Delaware.
Walter, also known as Baby Love, was always the life of a party. He loved to dance, play cards, ride around, and be with family. He stayed dressed and would always be sharp as a tack. His favorite colors were red and black. He had a love for air shows and detailing cars. He also loved to eat, but his favorite was blueberry pancakes with extra blueberries. He was spoiled by many since he is the baby of the bunch.
Walter had a special love for his family and could also be sharp with his tongue.
He was a very strong man even through many health complications. Walter continued to push through it all, and his favorite motto is "Only The Strong Survives".
Walter was proceeded in death by his two sisters, Sandra Weston, Iris (Jean) Weston and brother Henry Weston, Jr (Buddy).
Walter leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Kshawn J. Cox, Sr. (Krishawna Cox) of Bridgeville, DE; one daughter, Shernilla Cox of Seaford, DE; four grandchildren, Rajuon Cox, Anesha Gibson, Kshawn Cox Jr., and Keyonna Cox; 2 sisters, Gracelynn Gibbs of Millsboro, DE and Nancy Weston of Seaford, DE; 3 brothers, Carlton Weston of Millsboro, DE, Larry Spencer, and Keith Payne of Milford, DE; stepsister Carolyn Mann, his best friend, Steve Midgette of N.C. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A special thank you to his nephew Oliver Gibbs for everything you've done and sacrificed for our father. Also, thank you to Tammy (his caretaker and friend).
