MILLBURY - Wanda (Bachuszewicz) Bien (97) died peacefully Thursday, August 21st.
She leaves behind three sons; Richard (Peggy), Christopher and Francis (Kathy) all of Millbury; 7 grandchildren Sarah Conlon (Eugene), Jennifer Posterro (Jamie), Sean Bien (Kelly), Katie, Michael, Joey and Jason Bien, 7 great-grandchildren as well as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years Stanley and son Thomas as well as two brothers, Chet and Eddie and one sister, Mary.
Many years were spent supporting her husband’s business, Bien Construction. Wanda enjoyed spending time with her family at the beach house on Saquish in Plymouth.
Wanda was an avid knitter and spent many hours making afghans and baby sweaters. She also volunteered her time in making and donating hats for the infants at the local hospitals. She spent many years as a volunteer at the Millbury Senior Center helping to serve lunch.
Family and friends will remember Wanda’s life with a time of visitation on Tuesday, August 26th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Her funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with burial in Fairview Cemetery, South Grafton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 5 River Street, Millbury MA 01527.
