Taylor Funeral Home of Louisville announces the death and funeral services of Wanda Mae Brooks, age 73, of Louisville who died Tuesday morning, November 19, 2024, at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 25, in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Louisville with Rev. David Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Moxley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the services on Monday.
A native of Louisville, Wanda was a daughter of the late John William Brooks and Clara Mae Smith Brooks. She was a graduate of Louisville Academy and had worked at the Jefferson County Service Center for more than 30 years. Wanda was a long-time member of the Moxley Methodist Church.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sister, Barbara Etta Radford (Terry) of Louisville, her sweety John Henson of Louisville, caregiver, Shawanda Bostic of Louisville and many friends.
