Wanda Clements

Graveside services for Wanda Summers Clements will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Zion Hope Cemetery Annex in Crisp County. The family will speak with friends immediately following the service. Wanda, 74, of Cordele, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. She was born in Atlanta to the late James Harold Summers and Dovie Watson Summers. She was also preceded in death by siblings, James Summers, and Janie Dorminey, and her husband, Franklin. She was a bookkeeper for Abbeville Builders Supply and a member of the Baptist Faith. Wanda loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. She enjoyed cooking and nothing made her happier than to cook a big meal and sit around the table enjoying it with the ones she loved. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jerry "Jake" Clements, of Cordele; four sons, Joey Clements, Jonathan Clements, and his wife, Pam, all of Cordele, Justin Clements, of Abbeville, and James Clements and his partner, Steven Hornyak, both of Cordele; two sisters, Connie Coleman, and her husband, Wayne, and Tonie Key, all of Cordele; six grandchildren, Lauren Clements, Blake Ward, and her husband, Graham, Allyssa Clements, Karson Clements, Kelsy Tyre, and her husband, Colton, and Kloey Clements; a great-granddaughter, Laken Tyre; a sister-in-law, Glyndia Summers; and several special nieces and nephews.
