Wanda Combee Obituary
Wanda Marie (Keesler) Combee, aged 61, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Baptist Health in Fort Smith. Born on April5th, 1963, in Phoenix, Arizona, Wanda was the beloved daughter of James and Minnie (Hampton) Keesler. She was joyfully married to the love of her life, George Combee, for 43 wonderful years. Wanda dedicated her life to being a loving homemaker, delighting in crafting and cherishing time with her family and friends. Known for her joyous spirit and the positive impact she had on everyone she met, Wanda leaves behind a legacy of treasured memories and stories. A devout Christian, her faith was a cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her devoted husband, George; her children, Brandi Kowalczyk and her husband Tony of Phoenix, Arizona; and Shawn Combee of Phoenix, Arizona. Wanda was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren (three boys and four girls) and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Athalea Crossno and her husband Jimmy of Phoenix, Arizona; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, and many aunts and uncles. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the thoughtful direction of River Glenn Cremations and Funeral Services.
