Our mother Louise went home to be with Jesus and our dad. She is a woman of exceptional character. She was a profound influence in our lives. She served as daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great-grandmother, friend, servant, and most importantly our Sister-in-Christ. Through her faith and God’s grace she played a pivotal role in who we are today.
Her strength, courage, fearlessness, love, patience, kindness, generosity, compassion, and selflessness remain an enduring legacy. Mom, thank you for introducing us to Jesus. You did not just tell us who Jesus was, you showed us who he was by the life you led. You loved not just your family, but your neighbor like Christ instructed us to do and set the perfect example.
We know that Jesus and our dad John David Dillon Jr., her parents, Ellis Bolden and Minnie Cox Bolden, her brothers, Curtis, Robert, Ernie, and Damon, her sisters Glenna Mae, Judith, Delores, Christine, and Sabrina, her grandson Cody Waguespack, Joshua Daniels, her son-in-law Alvin Knight. They were waiting for her at the gates of Heaven and she is loved in Heaven as much as she is on Earth.
