Wanda Claire Ebersole

Wanda Ebersole, 74, a devoted believer in Jesus Christ, passed away peacefully on January
28 th 2025. In a touching reflection of Gods divine plan, she was called home on the same day
as her beloved husband, Ron, exactly 15 years apart.
A faithful member of Covenant Presbyterian Church for nearly 50 years, Wandas life was a
testament of love, kindness, and unwavering faith. She cherished her family deeply and found
immense joy in the friendships she built within her church community. She embraced each day
with a kind and generous heart, caring deeply for those close to her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred (Hendersen) Moore; father, Howard Moore;
sister, Sharline Bufkin; and husband, Ron Ebersole. Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca
Roberts (Kenny) of Lakeland and Alison Carter of Auburndale; grandchildren, Aden Hunt of
Lakeland, Josiah Carter and Steel Carter of Brandon, and beloved caretaker, Millie Messam of
Lakeland.
A memorial service to honor her memory will be held on February 5 th at Covenant Presbyterian
Church, 210 Poppell Drive Lakeland, Fl 33813 at 10:00 am with a light lunch to follow.
Music was a central part of Wandas life. She and her husband shared a love for singing and
were longtime members of the church choir, using their voices to bring joy and worship to
others. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church - Music
