Wanda was a co-worker and friend. She could communicate in a blunt, considerate, and funny manner with all those attributes intertwined. She also recounted many stories about her home and school life. We visited her in Lewisburg after her retirement and the laughs continued. Wanda will be missed and remembered by many. NANCY M. Wanda "graciously" shared one half of the health room for a learning support classroom addition when Northwestern Elementary ran out of classroom space. I say gracious because initially she wasn´t too happy about it but eventually the kids warmed her heart and we "roomed" together and had fun.
As school nurse she could spot the students who were faking an illness and chased them back to class! She called them frequent flyers.
She was a fun member of our card club group and went along with some of our crazy dress up ideas even dressing as a lady of the night one time. I have fond memories of our years at NWE. Rest in peace, Wanda

I remember Wanda as a fun colleague at Weisenberg Elementary School. We sometimes drove together from New Tripoli to school in the early 1980s, a time when schools didn´t quickly close for snow days. More than once we drove through part of a farmer´s field because the drifts weren´t as high as on the road. Wanda was quite fearless, and I was always thankful when it was her turn to drive. I am saddened by her passing.
