Wanda L. Kennedy of Burlington Township passed away Monday September 29, 2025 at Samaritan Hospice, Mt. Holly at the age of 87. Born in Hazard, Kentucky, Wanda was a longtime Burlington Township resident. She was a fun loving mother to any creature, human or animal that crossed her door including a skunk named Pepe. Firm in her beliefs, she would be quick to let you know in the most loving way. Some of her best qualities included her honesty, sass and her love for her husband, Bill. All of her relationships were important to her including her husband, kids, grandkids, great grandkids, animals she cared for and numerous friends. Her door was always open and she cherished visits from anyone who would stop by; all were welcome. In her younger years she could be found hanging out with her best friend Peggy. In later years, she loved to take rides with her husband Bill and dog Brandi to Columbus Market, McDonald's or Stewarts. She loved to drive around Burlington City to see her parents old home. She also loved to watch her great grandkids run around the house and play. Wanda would always be seen wearing her cross representing her strong religious beliefs. She would sit in her rocking chair flipping through the latest copy of People Magazine covered in the warmest blankets, even on a hot summer day. She was predeceased by her son Billy, her parents Lewis and Ora Halcomb and her siblings. Wanda is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bill, her daughters Cynthia and Cathy, her grandkids Will, Brian (Megan), Kara and Nicky, her nine great grandkids as well as Kathleen, Dennis and Michelle. A viewing for Wanda will be held Friday October 10th from 11am-12pm at the Page Funeral Home, 302 East Union Street, Burlington. A funeral service will be held Friday beginning at 12noon. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to either Samaritan Hospice c/o Samaritan Gift Processing Center, PO Box 71425, Philadelphia, PA 19176-1425 or to the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter, 3111 Route 38, Suite 11 #238 Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054 would be appreciated by her family. The family would like to close the obituary with "She could always be heard yelling Yo Bill!"
