Wanda Jean Kuk

Wanda Jean Kuk, 95, of Sandusky passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 at the Sanilac Medical Care Facility.

Wanda was born on August 25, 1930 in Custer Township, Michigan to the late Earl and Clara Belle (Kenny) Samson. She married Daniel Kuk on March 7, 1953 in Sandusky, Michigan. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2018. Wanda was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Sandusky First United Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Wanda was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary post #2945. In her spare time, Wanda liked playing cards and cherished the time helping to raise several children that she considered her grand babies.

Wanda is survived by her three daughters, Debra (John) Darling, Cheryl Gutc and Devon Buiting; grandchildren, Jeremy Simmons, Danielle Carlson, Travis Gutc, Corey (Dayna) Buiting and Garrett (Jenna) Buiting; great grandchildren, Gianna Gutc, Easton Buiting, Emery Buiting and Hudson Buiting; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband; eight siblings; son-in-law, Tony Buiting; and several nieces and nephews

The family will receive visitors from 10-12 on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky. Burial will follow immediately at Greenwood Cemetery.

Donations may be made in her honor to Sandusky First United Methodist Church.
