Wanda Logan Obituary
Wanda “Dean” Logan age 92 of Glenwood, entered glory Tues April 9th, 2024. She was born Feb 23 1932 in Langley, AR the daughter of the late Fred Samuel Arivett and Myrtle Dunson Arivett.
She was a member of the Lodi Freewill Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. She was a loving and faithful Christian devoted to following the Lord. Her greatest prayer has been that all of her family would come to know the Lord and follow his word.
She dedicated over 30 years to the Glove Factory and maintained friendships with coworkers throughout the years, attending yearly reunions.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend with a quick wit and a big heart.
She was devoted to her siblings and was the constant as their health declined visiting them almost daily advocating and being that familiar face.
She loved her grandkids and enjoyed any time she could spend with them, spoiling with a popsicle or sugar-free candy.
She enjoyed plants and flowers and helping maintain a beautiful yard in earlier years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband EC Logan, granddaughter Ashton Nicole Buck, first husband Curt Mitchell, infant son Gary Mitchell, and grandson Jon Curtis Mitchell. Brothers Edwin Arivett, U.L. Arivett, Thomas Arivett, Doyle Arivett, sisters Helen Mitchell and Hazel Brooks.
She leaves behind to cherish son Stan (Della) Mitchell of Little Rock, step-daughter Terisa (Tommy) Hughes of Glenwood, and step-daughter Christina (Bob) Richards of Kirby. Grandchildren Josh Mitchell, Garrett Subin, Colby Buck, Makayla Buck, McKenzie Hughes, Tina Richards, Cindy Miller, Bobby Richards, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Special Thanks to the Care and Compassion of Arkansas Hospice team Ashley Adams RN and Cherie Wilson CNA. Personal caregivers Vicki Francis, Shian Upton, and Connie Forrester.
Visitation services will be Thursday, April 11, 6-8 PM at Smith Family Funeral Home in Glenwood.
Funeral Services will be at Lodi Free Will Baptist Church Lodi Arkansas
Friday April 12th at 10:00 AM With Bro Ron Parker officiating.
Pallbearers will be Josh Mitchell, Colby Buck, Jo Ray Short, Don Mcguire, Steve Boyd, and Steve Thomas.
Internment in Lodi Cemetery.
