Wanda Lou Paulk

Mrs. Wanda Lou Richardson Paulk, age 82 of Deville, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Rapides Regional Hospital.

Visitation for Wanda will be held at Gallagher Funeral Home on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 pm. Services will be Monday, July 21, 2025, at 10:00 am at Holloway Baptist Church with Reverends Sam West, Jack West, and Tim Shields officiating.

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Horace Paulk, Sr.; her son, Horace Paulk, Jr.; her parents, Clyde Richardson and Ima Richardson Taylor and her stepfather, John Taylor; her brother, Wayne Richardson; and her stepbrother, Glen Taylor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Marty Paulk (Karin), Lori Combs (Bruce) and her daughter-in-law, Meloydee Paulk; eight grandchildren, Courtney and Connor Combs, Marlee Abraham (Ben), Jacob Paulk (Macy), and Mallori, John, Ariana, and Davis Paulk; sister, Sue Willis (Jim); sister-in-law, Rannie Richardson; sister-in-law Joyce Paulk Licciardi; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Wanda graduated from Jena High School. She worked as an aide at Pinecrest for many years and retired from there. Wanda was a member of Holloway Baptist Church. She also served as a volunteer at Mainstreet Baptist Mission for many years. While serving as a volunteer there she found her place of service for the Lord. She helped a lot of people and made many friends while there. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
