Wanda Gail (Barnes) Potter, age 65, of Mountain City, TN; passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Wanda was born on August 21, 1960 to the late Richard Barnes and Lorraine Barnes. In addition to her parents Wanda was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Barnes and her life time partner Scott Pollock.Wanda loved gardening and tending to her flowerbeds. She had a love for hummingbirds and butterflies and her dogs. Wanda was a grandma to many by choice.
Those left to cherish her memories are two sons, Robert Potter Jr. and Randy Potter Sr. and wife Kayla Potter; brother, David Barnes, grandchildren, Anna Potter, Randy Potter, Jr., David Potter, Corey Potter, Gianni St Martine, Cole Dugan, Forest Dugan; cousins, Lora Miller and Mae Lafferty, special friends, Teresa Magiera, Jeff Pyle, Bonnie Curd, Rhoda Mahaggey, Michelle, Diane and Steve Cochran.
Wanda’s request was to be cremated and no formal service held.
The family of Wanda Gail (Barnes) Potter has entrusted her care to Mountain City Funeral Home, 224 S. Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683.
