Ms. Wanda Faye Roberts

Wanda Faye Roberts, 58, of Mullens, went to be with the Lord suddenly on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at her residence. Born Aug. 14, 1953, in Welch, she was the daughter of Gladys Robinette Roberts of Pineville and the late Adam Roberts. Wanda graduated from Pineville High School in 1973 and was a member of the Corrine Missionary Baptist Church. She loved life and listening to music, especially Elvis. She enjoyed being with her family, especially her granddaughters, Summer and Madison, going places with Carl Wayne, ice cream and kittens. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a niece, Kimberly Lester Little. In addition to her mother, survivors include a son, Kenneth Roberts and his wife, Vickie, of Fayetteville; two sisters, Debbie Lester and her husband, Finace, of Hurley, Va., and Donna Roberts of Comfort; a brother, Adam Roberts and his wife, Patty, of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Dylan Williams and Summer and Madison Roberts; nieces, Denise Davis, Kelly Whitt and Audrey Roberts; great-nieces, Kayla, Tiffany and Robin Little and Casey Davis; and great-nephews, Brandon and Wesley Davis and Joshua and Dustin Whitt. She also leaves behind a very special companion, Carl Wayne McKinney.
