Wanda Loretta Wilson, 96, of Corpus Christi, went home to be with Jesus on January 24, 2026. She was born November 5, 1929, to Jesse and Clara Bull Stanford. On November 5, 1949, she married the love of her life, Clif Wilson, and together they shared 65 years of marriage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers, Gene Stanford and Leland Stanford.

She is survived by her three daughters: Kay (Dale) Hicks of Hackberry, Louisiana; Sharon (Michael) Stridde of Corpus Christi; and Joy Ryan of Huntsville, Texas; along with 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Wanda was known for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and the way she pointed people to Jesus whenever she had the chance. She found joy in fishing, sewing, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends. Her daughters were the joy of her life, and she treasured every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, loving them deeply and faithfully. Her life leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, compassion, and faith, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, at First Baptist Church Bishop. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Bishop.
