Waneta Murphy Obituary
She was born March 5, 1941in Moundsville; the daughter of the late Blaine Allen and Lucille Yoho Holmes.
Elaine was a graduate of Moundsville High School and was a retired loan specialist for the United States Department of Commerce.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick E. Murphy; and two sisters, Nila Byard and Nelda Eckelberry.
Survivors include her son, Bryan (Trina) Murphy of Olive Branch, MS; one grandson, Gavin Murphy of GA; one sister, Betty (Cliff) Fogle of Moundsville; and one brother, William (Lisa) Allen of GA.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hillview Terrace Church of Christ, 354 Middle Grave Creek Rd. Moundsville, WV 26041 or, for her love of animals, to the Marshall County Animal Shelter, 37 Animal Shelter Dr. Moundsville, WV 26041.
A private interment in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, WV will be held.
Arrangements entrusted to Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, Moundsville.
