Bruce Moore Obituary
He was born on December 7, 1929 in Paden City, WV; the son of the late Clarence and Vada McLain Moore.
Bruce was the former Director of Education at the West Virginia Penitentiary; served in the US Navy for twenty years; loved to golf and solve the Sunday morning newspaper crossword.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Sally Grewe Moore; two brothers, Charles and Howard Moore; and three sisters, Mary Moore, Betty Patterson, and Norma Jean Moore.
Survivors include his wife, Connie J. Fisher Moore; six children, Brad (Cindy) Moore, Brian (Sue) Moore, Becky Daschbach, Joe Moore, Eileen (Bill) Cieslewski, and Maureen (Rob Duncan) Rose; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11am until the time of service at 1pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, WV, with Rev. Tim Wilt officiating and the Moundsville Honor Guard performing military services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Home of Wheeling, 14 Orchard Rd., Wheeling, WV 26003.
