Ward Walter Obituary
He was predeceased by his wife Marion and their infant son, Randy; his father and mother Clayton and Leona, his brother Ralph and wife Laura and two nieces, Carolyn and Cindy.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his nephews Roland (Karen), Howard (Helen) and Jay R. (Debra) and their families.
Ward graduated from Maine Jr. High and Vestal High School before entering the Army (11/59-2/62) some of his service time was spent in Germany. He is a retiree from IBM Owego. He was a member of Maine Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing in the church choir and also singing in a men s quartet for many years. He had a beautiful tenor voice! He also enjoyed playing basketball and softball on the church teams.
We want to thank everyone at Castle Gardens Keepsake for taking care of Ward for the last few years.
Graveside service will take place at Maine Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
