Warren Daniel Baxter, age 76, entered his Heavenly home on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Evans Memorial Hospital after a battle with dementia.
Warren was born April 29, 1948, in Tattnall County to Bruce and Betty Brannen Baxter. He was a graduate of Glennville High School and attended Middle Georgia College for 2 years, obtaining his degree from Georgia Southern College in education.
Warren taught industrial arts in 1973 before changing jobs to be a civil engineer. Over his career as a civil engineer he was employed with Hussey, Gay & Bell Engineering Firm and Branigar of Union Camp. After retiring he worked part time for Nestle's.
Warren resided in Savannah, Georgia for 48 years, moving back to his hometown of Glennville after retirement in 2019. He loved to spend his leisurely time reading a book or playing softball and basketball. Warren was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church.
Warren was a loving husband and devoted father, who will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Diane Futch.

Niece, Hope Futch all of Glennville, Georgia
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will be in Beards Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
