Warren R. Pummell

Warren R. Pummell, age 66, of Lima, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, August 27, 2025, at 5:48 p.m.

He was born on August 11, 1959, in Lima, Ohio, to the late James "Bob" Pummell and Marlene (Musser) Pummell, who survives in Lima.

Warren was a skilled handyman with a talent for fixing just about anything-cars, electrical work, roofing, plumbing, and all aspects of home maintenance. He also had an artistic side and found joy in painting Bob Ross-inspired landscapes. In his later years, he took pride in cooking at Viva Maria Italian Restaurant. He loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and boating with his close friends Jeff and Clyde.

In addition to his mother, Warren is survived by his sister, Susan (Dominic) J. Fricano of Ada, OH; niece, Maria (Anthony) DiPietro of Lima; nephew, Giuseppe "Joe" Fricano (Erika Schoeps) of Columbus; great-nephew, Daniel DiPietro; great-niece, Rosalie DiPietro; and many cousins and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Eastside Chapel. Pastor Terri Haithcock to officiate the service. Burial to follow at Fairmont Cemetery near Uniopolis. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
