Warren "Frank" Sutton, aged 57, passed away peacefully at home surround by his family on June 2, 2024, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on December 12, 1966.
Frank served in the United States Army from 1984 to 1994 and later pursued higher education at New Mexico State University. He had a fulfilling career with the US Forest Service, where he worked diligently for 35 years until his retirement on December 31, 2023. Frank's dedication and willingness to assist others were always evident, earning him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.
In his free time, Frank enjoyed various outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, and paddling on his Hobie kayak around the lake. He also found solace tending to his tropical plants and creating a sanctuary in his backyard.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Paula Sutton Avondet, his son Spencer Sutton, his stepdaughter Gabrielle Tanner. Dennis (Father) and Betty (Mother) Sutton (TX), Robin and Mark Quinn (NE), Cyndi and Rob Mulloy (TX), Joesph and Stacey Avondet (UT), as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Richard J Avondet, in 2023.
Frank's dedication to his country, his career, and his hobbies will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and colleagues.
The Sutton Family wants to a special thank you to his hospice team for all the love and attention they gave him so he could be at home in peace.
