Wayne Addison

Wayne, age 66, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025. He was a resident of Loranger, LA. Wayne was a member of Creekside Baptist Church. He was an outgoing man that never met a stranger. Wayne loved to crack jokes and share stories with anyone he met. He had a knack for woodwork and could often be found tinkering with some wood. Wayne enjoyed being outside but was happiest spending time with his family. He adored his children and was truly an amazing father and husband. Wayne was a strong man that never let any of his challenges get in the way of doing what he loved. He was a one-of-a-kind man that left his family with countless wonderful memories. Wayne will be forever missed.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Carol "Bunny" Addison; daughters, CJ Addison, Ruby Addison; son, Jacob Addison; and brothers, Jeff Addison (Mary), and Ronnie Addison (Stephanie).
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Joy and Louis Addison Sr.; and brother, Louis Alvin Addison Jr.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 12012 Hwy 190 W Hammond, LA 70401 on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Pastor Randy Smith will officiate with interment to follow in Addison Family Cemetery.
