Wayne Vincent Arnold

Wayne Vincent Arnold, 84 passed away on April 2, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving wife. He was born on August 26, 1937, in Fort Lupton, CO to Clarence and Wynona Arnold.
Wayne grew up in Hudson, CO, graduating from Hudson High School (Cowboys) in 1957. After he graduated high school, he served two hitches in the Army. He was an old-time cowboy that loved horseback riding and roping with his family and friends. Building log homes, log furniture was his dream and what he was well known for. If he wasn't building log homes, he was running any equipment he could get hands on. He was also a member of the Masons Lodge in LaVeta, CO. Wayne was a jack of all trades, and never turned a new project down.
Wayne married Norma (Godfrey) Arnold in 1962 in Brighton, CO. They were married 59 years and had four children: Rick, Robert, Terry, and Tracey. Once all his children were raised, they all moved to Aguilar, CO in 1994. When arriving in Aguilar he started running an outfitter company for many out of state hunters. He put many miles on by hiking and horseback through the Spanish Peaks. If he wasn't working, he was spending time with his loved ones, telling stories around the table with his family and friends, playing his guitar, and listening to country music. He always had a story to tell and always had everyone laughing.
Wayne is survived by his spouse Norma Arnold of LaVeta, CO; his children Rick and Robert Arnold of Keenesburg, CO; his siblings Evonne Adams of Keenesburg, CO, Dale (Bonnie) Arnold of Strasburg, CO and Alice (Dave) Gutierrez of Kersey, CO; grandchildren Kandi (Dale) Sacry of Hudson, CO; Ashley (David) Arnold-Moore of Decatus, IL; Ryan Arnold; Trever (Whitney) Hanssen of LaSalle, CO; Brittney (Zeb) Redden of Buckley, WA; WD (Marcella) Arnold and great-grandchildren; Alexis & Makayla Hager and Wayne Arnold, all of Hudson, CO.
Wayne is proceeded in death by his parents Clarence & Wynona Arnold; Sister Carol Synder; Daughters Tracey Arnold and Terry Hanssen; Brother-in-law Rusty Adams; Niece Carla Dever; and Nephew Garrett Arnold.

A celebration of Life will be held on April 7, 2022 (TODAY) @ 2:00 p.m. at Sammies' Restaurant and RV Park, 124 N. Main St., LaVeta, CO 81055, as well as April 9, 2022 @ 2:00 p.m. at the American Legion 595 Railroad Ave., Keenesburg, CO 80643.
