Wayne Carson Obituary
WAYNE CARSON, age 81, of Jefferson City, TN passed away September 23, 2023. He was a former Jefferson County police officer and a driver for Roadway Express. Preceded in death by his daughter, Gina Lynn Carson and granddaughter, Michaela Jacklynn Carson; parents, Lon and Mamie Carson; grandmother, Addie Potter. He is survived by Gini E. Carson; daughters, Christa Dawn Rogers, Trisha Carson-Hufford and husband, Brian Keith Hufford, who was like a son to him; sons, Christian David Carson (Ashley), Michael Wayne Lyndell Carson; great-grandchildren, Waverly Miracle Carson and Brawler Alvie Carson. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Farrar Funeral Home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Agape Acres, 108 Agape Way, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
