Wayne K. Elsinger, 81, of Dundee went to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Theda Care Regional Medical Center in Neenah. He was born on February 12, 1944 in Oakfield, the son of Arthur and Lydia (nee Heinz) Elsinger. On October 10, 1964, Wayne was united in marriage to the love of his life Marion V. Marquardt at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Campbellsport.
Wayne worked at Gehl Company in West Bend for 16 years and then at G & L in Fond du Lac for 13 years before retiring. Wayne and Marion loved spending time together and being with their family and friends. Wayne enjoyed hunting (geese and turkeys), his favorite model tractor collection, going out to eat, and traveling, especially up North. Wayne just loved to be outdoors and his beloved favorite Kitty Cat.
Those left behind to cherish Wayne’s memory include his wife of 61 years Marion, daughter Christy (Steven) Carpenter of Sheboygan, son Jeffrey (Julie) Elsinger of Fond du Lac, grandchildren Devon (Ben) Degner, Joseph Carpenter, Katelyn (Patrick) Dexter, Molly Miller, Jacob (special friend Victoria Dusseau) Miller, Kelly (Mike) Anhalt of Sheboygan, and Matthew (Kelly) Carpenter, great grandchildren Keelyn, Bryndle, and Garren Degner, Arlo Dexter, Brady and Brinn Anhalt, and Liam and Maddie Carpenter, brothers David (Lisong) Elsinger and Dale (Chris) Elsinger, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Lydia, brothers Roger and Victor, and sister-in-law Patsy Elsinger.
A Private Family Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 15th at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church with Neil Zinthefer officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Dundee.
The Elsinger family extends a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Theda Care ICU and Hospice for the care and concern shown Wayne and his family.
